If You live to be 100, it is only 36,500 days: Don’t Waste Them.
If You Live to Be 100, You Only Get 36,500 Days
Don’t Waste Them.
Today was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I do what I do.
I spent the day working with an incredible group of kids, helping them explore ideas, think bigger, and believe in what’s possible for their lives. I left feeling energized, inspired, and deeply grateful. And honestly, I couldn’t stop smiling.
Moments like this don’t happen by accident.
They happen because of choices.
Because years ago, I decided I wanted more than just getting through the day. I wanted a life that felt intentional. A life where I had the freedom to say yes to opportunities that mattered to me. A life where I could show up fully, without asking permission or worrying about whether I could afford to say yes.
I often say this:
I don’t do what I do for the money. I do it for what the money allows me to do.
Today was a perfect example.
I was able to spend the day with young minds, sharing lessons about confidence, leadership, and believing in yourself. I got to be present. I didn’t have to ask for time off. I didn’t have to worry about falling behind or losing income. I simply showed up.
That freedom didn’t come by accident.
It came from making uncomfortable decisions.
From taking risks.
From ignoring the fear and the voices that said, “That’s unrealistic.”
I built something that gives me freedom over my time, my energy, and my impact. And that freedom is priceless.
If you’re reading this and feeling stuck, burned out, or like your life is on autopilot, I want you to hear this:
You are allowed to want more.
You are allowed to build a life that excites you.
And you are absolutely capable of doing it.
If you live to be 100, you get about 36,500 days.
I refuse to waste mine.
And I hope you don’t waste yours either.
