My Journey Isn’t Over: Finding Myself Again.
There was a point in my life when everything felt like it had fallen apart at the same time.
My marriage.
My finances.
My sense of identity.
I didn’t recognize the woman I saw in the mirror anymore, and I didn’t have a clear idea of who I was supposed to become next. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was.
So I did the only thing I knew how to do.
I made a list.
Not a to-do list. Not a goal list. Just a list of things I wanted to try, explore, experience, and learn. A list of things that might help me feel something again. A list that gave me permission to not have it all figured out.
That list changed my life.
It wasn’t about fixing myself. It was about meeting myself again.
Some things on that list surprised me. Some scared me. Some I tried once and never touched again. Others changed everything. But what mattered was that I started showing up for my life instead of waiting for clarity to magically arrive.
Over time, that list led me to growth, healing, and confidence I never thought I’d have. It led me to movement, to community, to deeper self-awareness, and eventually to a version of myself I actually recognized and respected.
Years later, I found myself making another list.
Not because something was broken, but because something inside me was asking for more. A deeper connection. A new chapter. A different kind of expansion.
And I realized something important.
We don’t outgrow the need to check in with ourselves.
We don’t “arrive” and stay there forever.
We evolve. We shift. We grow.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is admit that you’re ready for your next chapter, even if you don’t know what it looks like yet.
If you’re feeling restless, disconnected, or like something inside you is asking for attention, maybe it’s time to make your own list. Not a list of goals to achieve, but a list of experiences to explore.
You don’t need all the answers.
You just need the courage to start asking better questions.
And if you’re in a season of becoming, trust this: you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
