Sweet Potato Fries
These sweet potato fries are a simple, oven-baked side made with just a few ingredients. They’re crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and easy to pair with a wide range of meals.
Baking instead of frying keeps them lighter while still delivering great flavor with a touch of spice.
Ingredients
2 medium sweet potatoes (about 9 oz each), cut into 1/2-inch strips
4 teaspoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Arrange the sweet potato strips in a single layer on a baking pan.
Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
Sprinkle with black pepper and cayenne pepper.
Bake for 15 minutes, then turn the fries.
Continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are cooked through and lightly crisped.
