This basic quinoa recipe is an easy, reliable way to cook fluffy, perfectly tender quinoa every time. It’s a great base for bowls, salads, or as a simple side dish.
Ingredients
1 cup quinoa
2 cups water
Directions
Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under cold water and drain well.
Add the quinoa and water to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the water is fully absorbed.
Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
