Have you ever found that when your weight goes up, taking care of the rest of you goes down too? The more weight I have on my body, the less I care about my clothes, my hair, my overall well being.
It’s almost like I’ve already shown my body the ultimate sign of disrespect by filling it with trash and demanding that it perform anyway, so who cares what I do with it now?
When I am overweight I also I over work, I don’t sleep enough, I wear the same old clothes that I know fit, and I either skip meals and binge, or just eat all the crap I can find all day long.
This makes me tired, cranky, lethargic, depressed, and frustrated. I’m not the best partner, businesswoman, friend, sister or woman in general. I feel like crap and it shows.
When I am consistently taking care of myself, even if it’s a short workout every day, a great nutritional shake just once a day, just making healthier choices on my meals, etc. I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER.
I don’t know about you guys but to me it’s about more than a scale. It’s about more than the size of my jeans or how many push ups I can do. It’s not how far I can run or much I can lift, although those are huge bonuses. IT’S ABOUT HOW I FEEL.
Do I wake up excited about my life? Do I find myself adoring my husband? Do I love my work? Do feel strong and empowered? Am I laughing a real laugh with my friends? AM I ALIVE???
I am looking to help a few women take the first steps to FEELING better. I want a handful of amazing ladies that I can help find energy, happiness, respect for themselves and LIFE.
